The Walther Christian Academy Broncos volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Rochelle Zell Jewish Tigers to 1 in the Broncos non-league victory on Monday.
The Broncos now have a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cristo Rey Jesuit for a non-league game on Wednesday, May 18. Walther Christian Academy will meet a Cristeros team coming off a 2-0 league win over Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL). The Cristeros record now stands at 17-3.
The Tigers (13-4) will now prepare for their game against Northtown (Chicago, IL). The Pumas enter the non-league game with a 6-9 record. In their last game, Northtown held off Holy Trinity (Chicago, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
