Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA), 13-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Wilson Memorial for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 18. Fort Defiance will battle a Green Hornets squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Staunton (Staunton, VA). The Green Hornets record now stands at 4-3.

With the loss, Waynesboro falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Little giants travel to Riverheads (Staunton, VA) to battle the Gladiators in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 18. The Gladiators enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Riverheads won 15-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA)
