Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the North Dorchester Eagles (Hurlock, MD) and the host Cambridge-South Dorchester Vikings (Cambridge, MD), witnessed North Dorchester's softball squad tip Cambridge-South Dorchester by a count of 11-10.
The Eagles now sport a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Michaels for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 18. North Dorchester will meet a Saints squad coming off a 11-4 non-league win over Colonel Richardson (Federalsburg, MD). The Saints record now stands at 14-4.
With the loss, Cambridge-South Dorchester moves to 8-11 on the season.
