The Centennial Chargers softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Rantoul Eagles to 8 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Centennial moves its record to 4-14 on the year. The Chargers travel to Champaign Central (Champaign, IL) to clash with the Maroons in a non-league game on Thursday, May 19. The Maroons come into the game with a record of 13-18. Champaign Central lost 9-0 in their recent league game against Normal Community (Normal, IL)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Danville Vikings (Danville, IL) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 18. Rantoul will attempt to move on its 7-17 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 12-11 record after their 3-2 league loss to Urbana (Urbana, IL).
