Spectators at Monday's league match between the Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) and the host Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME), witnessed Lincoln Academy's softball squad tip Morse by a count of 2-0.

The Eagles now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Belfast for a non-league match on Wednesday, May 18. Lincoln Academy will meet a Lions squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Lawrence (Fairfield, ME). The Lions record now stands at 0-8.

With the loss, Morse moves to 4-7 on the season. The Shipbuilders host Erskine Academy (South China, ME) to meet the Eagles in a Class B South match on Friday, May 20. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 1-7. Erskine Academy lost 13-2 in their recent league match against Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME)
