Spectators at Monday's league match between the Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME) and the visiting Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME), witnessed Stearns's softball squad prevail over Schenck by a count of 12-3.

The Minutemen now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a non-league match on Tuesday, May 17. Stearns will meet a Red Devils squad coming off a 6-3 league loss to Bucksport (Bucksport, ME). The Red Devils record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Schenck moves to 3-5 on the season. The Wolverines host Lee Academy (Lee, ME) to meet the Pandas in a Class D North match on Wednesday, May 18. The Pandas go into the match with a record of 0-0.
