In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting St. John Paul II Lions baseball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the West Bridgewater Wildcats.
The Lions (9-5) will now prepare for their game against Rising Tide (Plymouth, MA). The go into the Cape & Islands game with a 3-8 record. In their last game, Rising Tide was edged by Bishop Connolly (Fall River, MA), 19-6, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats (7-8) will now prepare for their game against Tri-County RVT (Franklin, MA). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 3-10 record. In their last game, Tri-County RVT tipped Old Colony RVT (Rochester, MA), 9-8, in a non-league game.
