Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI), 15-11 in a league battle.

The Islanders now have a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chariho for a non-league battle on Monday, May 22.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) in a Division 2 battle, on Friday, May 19. Pilgrim will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Chargers come into the battle with a 10-2 record after their 14-1 league win over Toll Gate (Warwick, RI).
