The Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI) lacrosse triumphed over the host Providence Country Day Knights (East Providence, RI), 11-6 in Tuesday's league outing.
With the win, Smithfield upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Sentinels travel to Westerly (Westerly, RI) to battle the Bulldogs in a Division 3 outing on Thursday, May 18. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 13-1. Westerly won 15-4 in their recent league outing against Toll Gate (Warwick, RI)
With the defeat, Providence Country Day drops to 7-7 on the season. The Knights travel to Narragansett (Narragansett, RI) to battle the Mariners in a Division 3 outing on Friday, May 19. The Mariners go into the outing with a record of 7-6. Narragansett won 7-6 in their recent league outing against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI)
