Antioch Sequoits (Antioch, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Wauconda Bulldogs (Wauconda, IL), 2-0 in a league challenge.

The Sequoits now own a 25-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Round Lake for a Northern Lake County challenge on Thursday, May 18. Antioch will face a Panthers squad coming off a 21-1 non-league loss to Woodstock North (Woodstock, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-21.

With the loss, Wauconda falls to 21-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL) to face the Gators in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 17. The Gators enter the challenge with a record of 11-15. Crystal Lake South lost 13-0 in their recent league challenge against McHenry (McHenry, IL)
