The Burgettstown Blue Devils softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Apollo Ridge Vikings to 1 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Burgettstown improves its record to 8-8 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Neshannock (New Castle, PA) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league game on Thursday, May 18. The Lancers come into the game with a record of 17-0. Neshannock won 6-2 in their recent non-league game against Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA)
