Canton Warriors (Canton, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Williamson Warriors (Tioga, PA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Montgomery for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 18. Canton will battle a Red Raiders squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Athens (Athens, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 11-9.

With the loss, Williamson falls to 7-10 on the campaign.
