The Houlton Shiretowners (Houlton, ME) softball routed the visiting Caribou Vikings (Caribou, ME), 16-6 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Shiretowners (3-0) will now prepare for their bout against Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME). The Warriors go into the Class C North bout with a 5-7 record. In their last bout, Fort Kent notched a victory over Caribou (Caribou, ME), 15-7, in a non-league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Kent for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 18. Caribou will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 19-18 non-league win over Katahdin (Sherman Station, ME). The Warriors record now stands at 4-7.
