Airport Jets (Carleton, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Grosse Ile Red Devils (Grosse Ile, MI), 12-2 in a league test.

With the win, Airport upgrades its record to 16-6 on the season. The Jets travel to Plymouth Christian Academy (Canton, MI) to battle the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, May 17. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 19-7. Plymouth Christian Academy won 6-2 in their recent league test against Oakland Christian (Auburn Hills, MI)

With the defeat, Grosse Ile falls to 7-12 on the season. The Red devils travel to Huron (New Boston, MI) to battle the Chiefs in a Huron test on Monday, May 20. The Chiefs come into the test with a record of 25-4. Huron won 9-4 in their recent non-league test against Bedford (Temperance, MI)
