The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights got by the visiting Murray County Central Rebels baseball team by a count of 6-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Knights now possess a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to MACCRAY for a Camden bout on Friday, May 17. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will face a Wolverines team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Dawson-Boyd (Dawson, MN). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-7.
Next, the Rebels face the Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons (Adrian, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 17. Murray County Central will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Dragons enter the bout with a 5-9 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Mountain Lake/Comfrey (Mountain Lake, MN).
