In Thursday's league game, the Midlothian Trojans (Midlothian, VA) soccer squad tipped the host Monacan Chiefs (Richmond, VA), by a final score of 2-1.

The Trojans (10-4) will now prepare for their game against Powhatan (Powhatan, VA). The Indians go into the Dominion challenge with a 1-11 record. In their last challenge, Powhatan was edged by James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA), 4-0, in a league challenge.

The Chiefs now have a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they host Richmond City School of the Arts for a Dominion challenge on Monday, May 20. Monacan will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Manchester (Midlothian, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-6.
