The Atlantic County Institute of Tech routed the host Holy Spirit Spartans softball squad by a count of 7-2 in Thursday's league battle.

The (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Mainland Regional (Linwood, NJ). The Mustangs come into the non-league game with a 5-12 record. In their last game, Mainland Regional was routed by Our Lady of Mercy Academy (Newfield, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league game.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Pennsauken Indians (Pennsauken, NJ) in a non-league game, on Friday, May 17. Holy Spirit will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Indians come into the game with a 14-7 record after their 19-4 league win over Burlington City (Burlington, NJ).
