The Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots routed the visiting Bad Axe Hatchets softball squad by a final score of 12-0 in Thursday's league battle.

The Patriots (24-7) will now prepare for their battle against Reese (Reese, MI). The Rockets go into the Greater Thumb - West battle with a 4-21 record. In their last battle, Reese was routed by Cass City (Cass City, MI), 13-2, in a league battle.

The Hatchets now possess a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to St. Louis for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 18. Bad Axe will meet a Sharks squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI). The Sharks record now stands at 8-8.
