Carlson Marauders (Gibraltar, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Lincoln Park Railsplitters (Lincoln Park, MI), 18-0 in a league challenge.

The Marauders now own a 14-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Flat Rock for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 18. Carlson will face a Rams squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI). The Rams record now stands at 10-12.

With the loss, Lincoln Park falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Railsplitters travel to Anderson (Southgate, MI) to face the Titans in a Downriver challenge on Monday, May 20. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 5-11. Anderson lost 7-1 in their recent league challenge against Allen Park (Allen Park, MI)
