The Owls / Lady Owls come into the contest with a record of 5-12. Owsley County lost 15-0 in their recent non-league contest against Wolfe County (Campton, KY)

In their next game, the Cardinals play the Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY) in a District 40 contest, on Monday, May 20. George Rogers Clark will attempt to move on its 7-22 season record.
