The Gilford Golden Eagles softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host White Mountains Spartans to 0 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Gilford improves its record to 13-2 on the year. The Golden Eagles travel to Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH) to clash with the Huskies in a Division III game on Monday, May 20. The Huskies come into the game with a record of 10-5. Monadnock won 18-2 in their recent league game against Fall Mountain (Langdon, NH)

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Woodsville Engineers (Woodsville, NH) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 20. White Mountains will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Engineers come into the game with a 13-0 record after their 24-0 league win over Gorham (Gorham, NH).
