Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Greenville Lakers (Greenville, ME), 14-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Wolverines now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shead for a Class D North challenge on Friday, May 17. Schenck will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 8-2 league loss to Jonesport-Beals (Jonesport, ME). The Tigers record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Greenville falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Forest Hills (Jackman, ME) to battle the Tigers in a Class D South challenge on Saturday, May 18. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. Forest Hills lost 5-1 in their recent league challenge against Carrabec (North Anson, ME)
