Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Williamston Hornets (Williamston, MI), 14-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Mavericks now own a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gaylord for a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 18.

With the loss, Williamston falls to 18-5 on the campaign. The Hornets host Eaton Rapids (Eaton Rapids, MI) to battle the Greyhounds in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 20. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a record of 8-11.
