In Friday's non-league game, the host St. John's Pioneers baseball team scored a close 7-0 win over the Algonquin Regional Titans.

The Pioneers (15-2) will now prepare for their game against Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, MA). The Hawks go into the Catholic game with a 13-3 record. In their last game, Xaverian Brothers nudged Malden Catholic (Malden, MA), 6-2, in a league game.
