The Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) baseball trounced the host Big Rapids Cardinals (Big Rapids, MI), 14-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Northmen now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Gaylord for a Big North challenge on Tuesday, May 20. Petoskey will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 1-1 non-league Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-3.
With the defeat, Big Rapids drops to 13-13 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI) to clash with the Aggies in a non-league challenge on Saturday, May 17. The Aggies go into the challenge with a record of 14-6.
