The Blythewood Bengals (Blythewood, SC) baseball trounced the host James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC), 8-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Bengals now own a 24-5 record. They take the field next when they host Lexington for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 20. Blythewood will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 14-10 non-league win over Dorman (Roebuck, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 19-9.
With the defeat, James F. Byrnes drops to 18-13 on the year.
