The Hackettstown Tigers baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host Delaware Valley Terriers to 1 in the Tigers non-league win on Friday.
The Tigers now hold a 14-7 record. They take the field next when they host Lenape Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, May 17. Hackettstown will play a Patriots team coming off a 12-2 league win over Hopatcong (Hopatcong, NJ). The Patriots record now stands at 11-9.
With the defeat, Delaware Valley drops to 9-10 on the year. The Terriers host Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ) to play the Stateliners in a Skyland - Valley test on Saturday, May 17. The Stateliners go into the test with a record of 10-9.
