The James River Midlothian Rapids baseball team scored 3 runs and held the host Prince George Royals to 1 in the Rapids non-league win on Friday.

The Rapids now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cosby for a Dominion test on Monday, May 19. James River Midlothian will play a Titans team coming off a 20-0 league win over Richmond High School for the Arts (Richmond, VA). The Titans record now stands at 11-5.

With the defeat, Prince George drops to 6-11 on the year. The Royals travel to Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA) to play the Colonials in a Central test on Monday, May 19. The Colonials go into the test with a record of 9-8. Colonial Heights lost 8-3 in their recent league test against Dinwiddie (Dinwiddie, VA)
