The South Lyon Lions baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Kettering Captains to 3 in the Lions league win on Friday.

The Lions now own a 21-7 record. They take the field next when they host Walled Lake Northern for a Lakes Valley test on Tuesday, May 20.

With the defeat, Kettering drops to 17-13 on the year. The Captains host Brandon (Ortonville, MI) to clash with the Blackhawks in a non-league test on Saturday, May 17. The Blackhawks go into the test with a record of 9-9. Brandon won 6-2 in their recent league test against Clio (Clio, MI)
