The Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE) baseball trounced the visiting Mount Pleasant Green Knights (Wilmington, DE), 10-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 14-6 record.
With the defeat, Mount Pleasant drops to 9-11 on the year. The Green knights travel to Newark (Newark, DE) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a Blue Hen - Flight A challenge on Monday, May 19. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a record of 5-12. Newark lost 10-2 in their recent league challenge against St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE)
