New York High School Baseball - Monroe-Woodbury holds off Newburgh Free Academy

In Friday's non-league game, the host Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders baseball team scored a close 7-3 victory over the Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks.
The Crusaders (10-2) will now prepare for their game against Arlington (LaGrangeville, NY). The Admirals enter the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Arlington held off Carmel (Carmel, NY), 14-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Goldbacks face the Kingston Tigers (Kingston, NY) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 19. Newburgh Free Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 4-7 record after their 8-4 non-league win over Middletown (Middletown, NY).
