Massachusetts High School Softball - North Middlesex Regional bounces Groton-Dunstable

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the North Middlesex Regional Patriots (Townsend, MA) and the host Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA), observed North Middlesex Regional's softball team prevail over Groton-Dunstable by a tally of 18-5.

The Patriots (8-0) will now prepare for their bout against Lunenburg (Lunenburg, MA). The Blue Knights go into the non-league bout with a 5-1 record. In their last bout, Lunenburg knocked off West Boylston (West Boylston, MA), 21-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the Ayer Shirley Panthers (Ayer, MA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 28. Groton-Dunstable will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
