In Friday's non-league test, the Andover Panthers (Andover, NY) softball squad overwhelmed the host Hammondsport Lakers (Hammondsport, NY), by a count of 11-2.
Next, the Panthers meet the Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines (Bolivar, NY) in a Class D test, on Monday, May 19. Andover will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Wolverines go into the test with a 10-5 record after their 10-3 non-league win over Cuba-Rushford (Cuba, NY).
The Lakers (3-13) will now prepare for their test against Alfred-Almond (Almond, NY). The Eagles go into the Steuben County test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Alfred-Almond was routed by Canisteo-Greenwood (Canisteo, NY), 4-2, in a league test.
