The Comets (14-8) will now prepare for their bout against Springfield (Springfield, OR). The Millers go into the 5A Midwestern bout with a 4-19 record. In their last bout, Springfield was routed by North Eugene (Eugene, OR), 6-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Grizzlies clash with the Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR) in a 5A Midwestern bout, on Tuesday, May 20. Ashland will attempt to advance on its 8-11 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 17-5 record after their 16-1 league win over Springfield (Springfield, OR).
