The Manton Rangers softball squad (Manton, MI), was routed 18-0 in Friday's league contest with the host Pine River Area Bucks (Leroy, MI)

With the triumph, Pine River Area improves its record to 20-2 on the year. The Bucks travel to McBain (McBain, MI) to face the Ramblers in a Highland contest on Monday, May 19. The Ramblers enter the contest with a record of 4-9. McBain lost 14-1 in their recent league contest against Evart (Evart, MI)

The Rangers now hold a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Houghton Lake for a Highland contest on Tuesday, May 20. Manton will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 18-3 non-league win over Mesick (Mesick, MI). The Bobcats record now stands at 11-11.
