The St. Mary Gaels softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting North Arlington Vikings to 0 in the Gaels league win on Friday.
The Gaels now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bergenfield for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 17. St. Mary will confront a Bears team coming off a 8-3 league loss to Pascack Valley (Hillsdale, NJ). The Bears record now stands at 12-14.
With the loss, North Arlington moves to 9-14 on the season. The Vikings travel to West Orange (West Orange, NJ) to confront the Mountaineers in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 17. The Mountaineers come into the battle with a record of 13-7.
