In Saturday's non-league test, the Cresskill Cougars (Cresskill, NJ) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hawthorne Bears (Hawthorne, NJ), by a tally of 14-9.

Next, the Cougars meet the Harrison Blue Tide (Harrison, NJ) in a NJIC - Colonial test, on Monday, May 18. Cresskill will attempt to advance on its 18-6 season record. The Blue Tide go into the test with a 3-14 record after their 17-0 non-league loss to New Milford (New Milford, NJ).

The Bears (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Mary Help of Christians Academy (North Haledon, NJ). The Blue Jays go into the NJIC - Liberty test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Mary Help of Christians Academy was routed by Saddle Brook (Saddle Brook, NJ), 3-2, in a league test.
