The Beacon Bulldogs got by the visiting Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks baseball team by a count of 8-7 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Bulldogs now possess a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goshen Central for a Section 9 Orange County III bout on Wednesday, May 18. Beacon will face a Gladiators team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Gladiators record now stands at 7-13.

Next, the Goldbacks face the Warwick Wildcats (Warwick, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 17. Newburgh Free Academy will attempt to move on its 11-9 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 11-7 record after their 5-1 league loss to Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY).
