In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) baseball squad triumphed over the host Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD), by a final score of 7-0.
With the win, Northern upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD) to battle the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 20. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 16-3. Chesapeake won 13-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Bennett (Salisbury, MD)
With the defeat, Chopticon falls to 16-4 on the season.
