In Tuesday's league game, the host Tunkhannock Tigers baseball team scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Wyoming Valley West Spartans.
The Tigers (4-11) will now prepare for their game against Berwick (Berwick, PA). The Bulldogs go into the Wyoming Valley 1 game with a 5-13 record. In their last game, Berwick tipped Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 13-2, in a league game.
