North Carolina High School Softball - Anson gets by Bandys

May 17, 2022: Catawba, NC 28609

Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) and the host Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC), witnessed Anson's softball squad tip Bandys by a count of 5-4.

The Bearcats now sport a 17-7 record. They play next when they travel to West Stanly for a non-league match on Friday, May 20. Anson will face a Colts squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Morehead (Eden, NC). The Colts record now stands at 24-4.

With the loss, Bandys moves to 23-5 on the season.
