The Shelton Gaels softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Lyman Hall Trojans to 10 in the Gaels non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Shelton moves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Gaels travel to Cheshire (Cheshire, CT) to clash with the Rams in a non-league game on Thursday, May 19. The Rams come into the game with a record of 14-5. Cheshire won 15-3 in their recent non-league game against North Haven (North Haven, CT)

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the West Haven Blue Devils (West Haven, CT) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 18. Lyman Hall will attempt to move on its 2-16 season record. The Blue Devils come into the game with a 14-3 record after their 20-8 non-league win over Wilbur Cross (New Haven, CT).
