New York High School Softball - Pine Bush succumbs to Newburgh Free Academy

The Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks (Newburgh, NY) softball routed the visiting Pine Bush Bushmen (Pine Bush, NY), 15-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Goldbacks (5-9) will now prepare for their bout against Warwick (Warwick, NY). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 10-5 record. In their last bout, Warwick was routed by North Rockland (Thiells, NY), 5-1, in a non-league bout.

The Bushmen now possess a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Middletown for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 18. Pine Bush will confront a Middie Bears squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY). The Middie Bears record now stands at 6-10.
