Tri-Valley Bulldogs (Hegins, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host North Schuylkill Spartans (Ashland, PA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 18-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blue Mountain for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 18. Tri-Valley will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 19-2.

With the loss, North Schuylkill falls to 16-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host Berwick (Berwick, PA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 19. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 8-11. Berwick lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA)
