In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA), by a margin of 6-0.

With the triumph, Steele Canyon moves its record to 17-11 on the year. The Cougars travel to Brawley (Brawley, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 19. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 19-8. Brawley won 7-2 in their recent league contest against Central (El Centro, CA)
