Nebraska High School Baseball - Malcolm nips Platteview

May 17, 2023: Springfield, NE 68059

Malcolm Clippers (Malcolm, NE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE), 7-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Malcolm upgrades its record to 24-3 on the season. The Clippers travel to Roncalli Catholic (Omaha, NE) to battle the Crimson Pride in a non-league test on Friday, May 19. The Crimson Pride come into the test with a record of 13-11. Roncalli Catholic won 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Wayne (Wayne, NE)

With the defeat, Platteview falls to 15-12 on the season.
