The Barnstable Red Hawks volleyball team (Hyannis, MA), was edged 3-2 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Quincy Presidents (Quincy, MA)

The Presidents (8-11) will now prepare for their challenge against New Bedford (New Bedford, MA). The Whalers come into the Southern Alliance challenge with a 9-7 record.

Next, the Red Hawks encounter the North Quincy Raiders (North Quincy, MA) in a Southern Alliance challenge, on Friday, May 19. Barnstable will attempt to move on its 5-12 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Greater New Bedford RVT (New Bedford, MA).
