In Wednesday's league contest, the Amesbury Indians (Amesbury, MA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, MA), by a margin of 14-2.

With the triumph, Amesbury moves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Indians host Triton Regional (Byfield, MA) to play the Vikings in a non-league contest on Friday, May 19. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 16-1. Triton Regional won 19-3 in their recent non-league contest against Rockport (Rockport, MA)
