Plainview Bears (Rainsville, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Beulah Bobcats (Valley, AL), 10-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bears now own a 31-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Opp for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 17. Plainview will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Ashford (Ashford, AL). The Bobcats record now stands at 35-10.

With the loss, Beulah falls to 32-9 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Piedmont (Piedmont, AL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 17. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 27-11. Piedmont won 11-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Weaver (Weaver, AL)
