The Jonesport-Beals Royals softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Calais Blue Devils to 4 in the Royals non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Jonesport-Beals moves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Royals travel to Sumner (East Sullivan, ME) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, May 19. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 7-6. Sumner won 20-1 in their recent non-league game against Shead (Eastport, ME)

The Blue Devils (3-9) will now prepare for their test against Woodland (Baileyville, ME). The Dragons come into the non-league test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, Woodland overcame Jonesport-Beals (Jonesport, ME), 12-0, in a league test.
